Meet Helen
The artist behind
Ogham Irish Designs.
Helen Lynch is a visual artist based in Cork city and a graduate of the Crawford College of Art and Design. She started painting in 2014, and in 2020 began the Ogham series that the studio is known for now.
The work draws on where she grew up, the Beara Peninsula in West Cork, and on the wildness of the Atlantic that shaped it. Everything you see here is still made by hand, by her, in a home studio in the city.
