Refund Policy


WHAT ITEMS QUALIFY FOR A REFUND? 


  • Any item that is not bespoke and not made to order (such as ready to print Ogham inscriptions) that also meets the following criteria:

    1) Within 30 days from the date of purchase

    2) In unused and resellable condition

    3) In the original intact packaging.


WHAT ITEMS DO NOT QUALIFY FOR A REFUND? 


 The following items cannot be returned:

  • Bespoke or custom artworks

  • Gift cards

  • Discounted items


WHY IS THERE A DIFFERENT REFUND POLICY FOR CUSTOM ORDERS?


Under the Irish Consumer Rights Directive of 2014, custom orders are exempt from the standard refund policy. This is because custom items are unable to be resold to recoup lost income. You can click on the link above for confirmation on this policy. When ordering, both parties agree to the terms-of-service.

As creator I agree to:

  • work with the customer one on one create a piece to their specific brief to the best of my ability

  • undertake reasonable minor changes if needed

  • deliver the artwork in a secure and timely fashion

  • off a clear and transparent refund policy that can be reviewed before completing an order

THE ITEM I RECEIVED IS DAMAGED


Every effort is made to ensure each piece is crafted using high quality materials and finishing. Each order is hand-finished and packed by Helen to ensure the highest standards of quality control. If your purchased product has a clear fault, reach out to me (Helen) at hello@oghamirishdesigns.com within 7 days of the delivered date. I will work with you to try to resolve the issue. Tracked shipping comes with insurance on accidental damages in transit. Please note: This does not apply to orders mailed with standard shipping. Damage returns cannot be processed in this instance and you will need to consult with the local Postal system on damages incurred during transit.


CAN THE ITEMS BE EXCHANGED?


I allow the exchange of certain items that fall within the permissible criteria. Email me (Helen) at hello@ oghamirishdesigns.com to find out about your specific order. Once the exchange request is approved, the replaced item will be shipped to you. I reserve the right to refuse exchange.


I’VE CHANGED MY MIND AND WANT TO CANCEL MY ORDER:


In the unlikely event that you change you mind or want to cancel your order please email me (Helen) immediately at hello@oghamirishdesigns.com. If work has not begun on your piece you will be refunded in full. For partially completed orders a sum of 50% of the total cost (plus paid shipping fee if applicable) will be retained to cover the costs of time and materials. Depending on my schedule, some pieces may be completed within the first few hours of ordering. For custom orders, once the has been completed and shipped I am unable to process refunds.


MY PIECE IS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED


There may a rare occasion where the piece you ordered does not meet your expectations. I try to ensure this never happens by:

  • Consulting with each customer in person on their vision for the piece: e.g how a piece will be cropped, what orientation it will be, what the style of it will be.

  • Setting expectations: each piece is a representation of the photograph, and may not be an exact replica. Every effort is made to honour the likeness of subjects within each photographs. Please be aware as it is a hand produced items some tiny variations may occur.

  • Defining a clear production time: during peak season such as Christmas orders make a little more time. Every piece is made by hand by one person alone.

On occasion it is possible to make minor adjustments upon request and I am happy to do so if it is possible.


WHAT ARE THE REFUND OPTIONS?


Where orders meet the criteria stated in the second paragraph, the following refund options are supported:

  • Refund to the original payment method

  • Refund to store credit

  • Exchange

HOW SOON WILL I GET MY REFUND?


Once your returned item is received and inspected, you will be notified via an email. You will also be informed about the approval or rejection of your refund request. If approved, the refund request will be processed within 5 - 7 working days after approval.
