About the Artist:

Helen Lynch is an artist and illustrator based in Cork City, Ireland. Raised on the picturesque Beara Peninsula her Ogham series is inspired by the wildness of the Atlantic ocean. She received a BA in Fine Art from the Crawford College of Art & Design in 2011 and began focusing solely on painting in 2014. She currently lives and works in Cork city where she designs her pieces from her home studio.

Helen creates watercolour and mixed media portraits from photographs. She is also currently expanding the popular Ogham range. Using luxury materials such as gold leaf Helen combines the ancient Irish language of Ogham with modern minimalism to create eye catching and timeless artworks.
